Accommodation: 3 Self-Catering cottages and a large comfortable main lodge are all fully equipped and perfect for a break from the city. Each option has its own lounge area and kitchen. There is TV in the main house, and a laundry service is available. All towels and linen are supplied.
Activities: Game viewing in an open vehicle is available, and there is great bird-watching at the Reserve. There is a beautiful dam on the reserve, as well as various picnic areas set into the mountainside, offering spectacular views over the Waterberg and the wildlife on the farm. Game walks are extremely popular since the farm is safe to walk through, with the absence of dangerous predators on the farm. Horse Safaris are another way to view wildlife at close quarters.
Wildlife: Olievenfontein Game Reserve boasts a phenomenal selection of game which you will see during your stay. The main watering hole is right in front of the Main Lodge and becomes a hive of activity early morning and at dusk, also with thirsty wildlife visitors frequently stopping by throughout the day.
During your stay, you are likely to see Giraffes, Kudu, Nyala, Waterbuck, Impala, Eland, Zebras, Blue Wildebeest, & Red Hartebeest, to name a few. Also Klipspringer, Vervet Monkeys, Warthogs and an incredible variety of bird life.
Also on the farm are Leopard and Jackal, which are harder to see since they sleep during the day and are shy of humans.

The Waterberg Mountain area is part of the Bushveld district of the Limpopo Province, a two and a half hour drive north from Johannesburg on the N1.
Child Policy: Children are welcome at Olievenfontein - an ideal holiday getaway for families. Children under 5 stay free, whilst youngsters under the age of 12 stay for 50% of the normal charge.
Power Supply: There is 24 hour electricity to all rooms.
